Fruity hand lettered packaging concept
My daughter was looking for a tea mug so I decided to make her a one of a kind mug with hand lettering of the word “tea time” printed on it. When that was finished I used the lettering as a logo for this packaging concept for a broad product line of tea products.
Objective
The aim was to create a packaging concept that can be used on many different containers such as an ice tea bottle, a bag of loose leaf tea and box of tea bags. The packaging should show a large visual of tea (fruit) flavor and it should include a textual description of the display tea type and flavor.
Design
The logo itself is already very clearly linked to tea. The A in the word “tea” is shaped as a teabag and the word “time” is drawn within a tea cup.
The bold lettering remains very readable when placed over large image and the coloring of the logo can be customized for each product in the entire product line.
The bottle cap and the side of the boxes are colored black, green or red to indicate the type of tea.
